This Privacy Policy describes the information collected by VegResources and its associated applications and websites (we, us or VegResources), operated by Veg Groups, how that information may be used, with whom it may be shared, and your choices about such uses and disclosures. We encourage you to read this Privacy Policy carefully when using our mobile applications and websites, (the “Services”) or transacting business with us. By using our Services, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

If you have any questions about our privacy practices, please refer to the end of this Privacy Policy for information on how to contact us.

Who we are

Our website address is: https://www.vegresources.com. We are operated by Veg Groups.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Cookies

“Cookies” are small bits of text that are either used for the duration of a session (“session cookies”), or saved on a user’s hard drive, to identify that user or information about that user the next time the user logs on to a website (“persistent cookies”). One or more of our component sites might use session cookies to provide streamlined navigation. These session cookies are deleted from the component’s server after their session ends and information from them is not collected or saved. Additionally, social media and third-party services such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Google Tag Manager, Foresee, Google Analytics, and GovDelivery may install cookies depending on their configuration. You are not required to accept any cookies to use this site.

Additionally, we participate in various affiliate advertising programs. These programs are designed to provide a means for sites like ours to earn advertising fees by advertising links to products. As part of the affiliate program, we post customized links provided by the advertiser to track the referrals to their website. Programs like these utilize cookies to track visits for the purposes of assigning commission on these sales. Whether you follow an affiliate link through our site or not, the price you pay for products is exactly the same.

Currently, we participate in the following affiliate programs:

  • Amazon Services LLC Associates Program

Embedded content from other websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit our site, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to our site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google Analytics uses cookies to track visitor interactions. These cookies are used to store information, such as what time the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before, and what site referred the visitor to the web page. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to our site by disabling cookies on your browser.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is a solution to manage website tags. The tag manager tool itself (which deploys the tags) is a cookie-less domain and does not collect any personally-identifiable information. The tool instructs other tags to fire, and these other tags may collect data. This data is not accessed by Google Tag Manager. Please note that if you have opted-out at the domain or cookie levels, you will stay opted-out for all of the tracking tags deployed using Google Tag Manager. We use Google Tag Manager to record which links are clicked on our site.

VegResources search queries

We log user search queries performed within our Services. We do not log the user’s IP or other identifying information with the queries.

Who we share your data with

We do not share your data with any third parties. We do use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which is a third party but only our staff access the information. However, the information is stored on Google’s servers.

How long we retain your data

If you perform a search query within our Services, the search terms are retained for 14 days.

Google Analytics user and event data is retained for 26 months.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the law, our data collection and use practices, the features of our Services, or advances in technology. Please check this page periodically for changes. Use of information we collect is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the changes here. Please review the changes carefully. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy will constitute your consent and acceptance of those changes.
